This journey takes you to explore the legacies of Vietnam which are classified by UNESCO. During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the old town of Hoi An, the archaeological site of My Son and the ancient capital of Hue to better understand Vietnamese culture. You'll even have the chance to explore the Paradise Cave, a masterpiece of nature and enjoy a mud bath at the Shadow Cave.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1 : HO CHI MINH CITY – DA NANG – HOI AN

Pick up at Da Nang airport, transfer to visit : 

  • Visit the Ngu Hanh Son Marble Mountains, known for its landscape and beauty.

  • Discover Non Nuoc, famous for marble sculpture making and stone-cutting crafts.

  • We continue the journey to Hoi An, which was declared UNESCO World Cultural Heritage because of its ancient town. It is an exceptionally well-preserved example of a South-East Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century.

Lunch. Walk in the center of the old town and visit typical old houses in Hoi An, the Chua Cau bridge (Japanese Covered Bridge) and the Quan Cong Temple.

Dinner. Overnight at hotel.


DAY 2 : HOI AN – MY SON – HOI AN

Departure towards the archaeological site of My Son, UNESCO World Heritage. Discover the ruins of the capital of the ancient Champa kingdom. Enjoy a dance performance. Lunch. We take the road to the port for a boat ride of one hour on the Thu Bon River, then we arrive in the carpentry village Kim Bong. Ride by bike around the village and discover the carpentry craft workshops of the locals.

After one and a half hours in the carpentry village, we get back on the boat to navigate to the pottery village Thanh Ha. We walk through the village and discover pottery techniques used by the local craftsmen in Thanh Ha. Possibility of manufacturing a cup or a traditional terracotta game by yourself. Return to hotel by bike. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel.


DAY 3 : HOI AN - HUE

In the morning we depart to Hué. Check in hotel.

Lunch. Take a rest.

  • Visit the Imperial City and the Purple City of the Nguyen Dynasty, famous historical relics in Vietnam.

  • We continue to enjoy the beautiful views along the Perfume River.

  • Visit the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady, the highest pagoda in Vietnam, one of the major symbols of the city.

Dinner. Cruise trip on the Perfume River listening to Nha Nhac Cung Dinh Hue, a type of traditional court music singing of the Nguyen dynasty. Overnight stay at the hotel.


DAY 4 : HUE – DONG HOI

In the morning we visit the tomb of Tu Duc, one of the most famous kings of the Nguyen kingdom. This tomb is the most spacious as well as the most beautiful of the Nguyen kings tombs. The tomb of Khai Dinh, especially the mix of different architectures between Eastern and Western styles of the tomb appeals to all visitors.

Lunch. We continue to Dong Hoi. Check in at the hotel. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.


DAY 5 : DONG HOI – PARADISE CAVE – SHADOW CAVE

Departure to the Paradise cave in the heart of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang park. It's the longest dry cave in Asia which was discovered by UK explorers in 2005. The Paradise cave is considered one of the world's top natural wonders, it is also called "underground palace". We continue to the Shadow cave, a branch of the Phong Nha cave system.

Lunch. To explore the Shadow cave, you are equipped with a head light and specific equipment to explore the system of rivers underground and admire thousands of stalactites and stalagmites of all sizes. You have the opportunity to take a zip line to cross the Chay river. Explore the cave and later enjoy a 100% pure and natural mud bath. We return to the starting point in kayak and participate in other water activities. Return to Dong Hoi. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.


DAY 6 : DONG HOI – HO CHI MINH CITY

Departure to the Dong Hoi airport for the flight back to Ho Chi Minh City.
